Write Up about the activity in 100 Words only | An Innovation webinar under the banner of the innovation cell of RC Aizawl was conducted at IGNOU Regional Centre Aizawl on 24th October 2024 at 11AM to 1PM through online mode. There were 56 participants including RC Aizawl staff. Dr. V. T. Jalajakumari, Regional Director coordinated webinar. The programme was introduced by the Senior Regional Director Dr. S.R Zonunthara while delivering the welcome speech emphasizing the relevance of innovation webinars in a scenario wherein implementation of skill-based programmes recommended by NEP 2020. The programme was enriched by the presence of Dr. O.P. Sharma, Director NCIDE, IGNOU New Delhi. The keynote speaker Dr. Binod Parameswaran delivered an awareness speech on innovation on "The Art of Innovation: Turning Creativity into Reality," with special focus on the innovative approaches of science and technology in products, processes, and services. It was a very comprehensive and informative session to motivate and sensitize the participants on varied aspects, theories and practices of innovation and entrepreneurship. The fruitful discussion from the participants made the session dynamic and interactive. The programme came to an end with the vote of thanks by Mr. Samuela Ralte, Assistant Registrar of RC Aizawl.
